It's...Thanks, Dr. Hunter for a fresh new post. It's been a while. I so totally agree with you about the absurdity of the "no free will" theory. However, as the quantum world is elucidated, the concept of free will appears to me to be broadened. <br /><br />I have had some interesting thoughts about free will recently. First, we know that a lot goes on in the human mind that is unconscious, automatic. For instance, I don't have to think about where the keys on my keyboard are. My unconscious system has taken care of that for me. <br /><br />However, it appears to me that our entire free will resides in our conscious mind. I see no reason to believe otherwise. Additionally, my free will is able to modify my automatic behavior. For instance, I can train myself how to respond to stressful situations. But when a stressful situation happens, an automatic "trained" response comes out of me before my conscious mind is even able to factor it in. <br /><br />I find thinking about the limits of my free will to be enlightening. bFasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13584931926133025618noreply@blogger.com
