The bible's purpose for being written is gven to us at chapter three. The Amplified Bible puts Ecclesiastes 3:11 this way.<br /><br />"He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end."<br /><br />Again, Genesis never was intended as a sciencey "How it was done" step by step instruction manual. It simply provided a basic layout sequence of events which took place leading up to the crisis of Genesis chap 3. Ecclesiastes expresses the fact that humans have all eternity to explore and find out how things may have been accomplished. Again, Genesis is not meant to impress people who would rather mock. It doesn't have to. So the confusion does not originate with Genesis, but people trying to read between lines and seeing only empty space.Chaparral Earthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00618976919417073750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3855268335402896473.post-65615860643967387702018-04-08T17:54:19.470-07:002018-04-08T17:54:19.470-07:00Nice article.
